About the hosts
BHARGAV & PURVI's story
It all began at my workplace, where Bhargav’s senior and I used to work together. One ordinary day, I noticed him watching Bhargav’s Instagram story. I couldn’t help but compliment how amazing Bhargav looked — his dedication at the gym truly showed. Little did I know, that one compliment would change my life. His senior later told Bhargav about my words, and soon after, a message popped up in my inbox — from him. That’s how it started — a simple chat that slowly turned into endless conversations, laughter, and a bond we couldn’t ignore. Distance never mattered, love grew stronger, and when our families saw that spark, they happily united us. Even though Bhargav was in Australia, our hearts were together — we got engaged online, beginning the beautiful chapter of our forever love story. 💞

Haldi
The Haldi ceremony is a joyous Indian pre-wedding tradition where a paste made of turmeric (haldi), oil, and water is applied to the bride and groom by family and friends. Held a day before the wedding, this ritual is believed to ward off evil spirits, bless the couple, and cleanse and beautify the skin before the wedding. The vibrant yellow of the turmeric symbolizes purity, auspiciousness, and a prosperous new beginning.
Graha shanti
A Graha Shanti ceremony is a Hindu ritual performed to appease the nine planets (Navagrahas) and reduce their negative influences on life. It is conducted to bring peace, harmony, and prosperity, and is often performed before moving into a new home or before a marriage. The ceremony includes prayers and offerings to Ganesha and Gauri, chants of mantras for each of the nine planets, and a havan (sacred fire ceremony) with various ingredients like ghee and sesame seeds.
Sangeet
A sangeet ceremony is a pre-wedding celebration, primarily from North India, filled with music, singing, and dancing where both families gather to rejoice before the wedding. This event is an opportunity for the bride and groom's families to come together, bond, and celebrate the couple's upcoming union through joyous performances and festivities. The name "sangeet" itself means "music" or "to sing together"

Vivaah
Hindu wedding ceremony, or Vivaah, is a sacred and elaborate event with many rituals, but it often includes the exchange of garlands (Jaimala) and a fire ceremony (Homa Puja) where the couple circles a sacred fire seven times (Saptapadi) while taking vows. The ceremony can last one to two hours and is traditionally conducted in Sanskrit, though local languages may also be used. Key rituals include the Kanyadaan and the application of Sindoor and Mangalsutra to the bride.
