Harjinder & Kiranjit's story
Our story is very simple and sweet. We first met when life, unknowingly, brought us together on the same path. From that very first meeting, a beautiful friendship began, and slowly this bond grew deeper with warmth and affection. With time, we realized that we are happiest when we are together.
Although we both remain busy with our respective work, we truly cherish every little and big moment we spend together. Perhaps we may differ in age, but in thoughts and in heart, we are just the same. This is why we have now decided to tie our relationship in the beautiful bond of marriage.
We will feel honored to have you as a witness to the beginning of this new journey of ours. Your presence will make our wedding even more special and memorable.
“Happiness is real only when shared with loved ones.”
With this sentiment, we lovingly invite you to join us and bless us on this auspicious and joyous occasion of our lives.

Jaggo
Jaggo is a traditional Punjabi wedding ritual that takes place on the night before the wedding. The celebration is held with great enthusiasm in homes and neighborhoods. On this night, family members carry a "Khadaoo" (a large copper or brass pot) on their heads, filled with mustard oil and lit with lamps. They visit houses joyously singing and dancing. The bride's or groom's maternal aunt usually leads this ceremony.
During this event, local folk songs called "boliyan" are sung to the beat of the dhol (drum), and happiness is spread throughout the community. This ritual is a way of sharing joy within families and the community, so the wedding festivities begin with full excitement.
Traditional Punjabi snacks and sweets such as samosas, pakoras, jalebis, and lassi, which are completely vegetarian, are served during Jaggo.
In summary, Jaggo is a ceremony to stay awake and celebrate joyfully, where family and friends dance, sing, and serve delicious vegetarian food

Baraat
The word "Baraat" refers to the groom's wedding procession, where the groom travels to the wedding venue accompanied by his family and friends. In Punjabi weddings, the Baraat is a colorful and lively celebration that includes traditional music played on drums and other instruments, along with energetic dances like Bhangra and Garba. The groom often rides a decorated white horse or arrives in a decorated car, surrounded by people dancing and singing as they make their way to the bride's home or wedding place.
