About the hosts
Manikandan & Arsha's story
Arsha & Manikandan's journey began with a chance connection on a matrimonial site. Despite initial rejection due to distance, Manikandan pursued me, and I fell deeply in love.
I gave him an ultimatum, seeking clarity on his intentions. He confessed his love, informing his family he'd only marry me.
His family agreed, and we met on our engagement day. Our love flourished despite distance, and we discovered new facets of each other.
Our love story transcends distance, culture, and expectations. We're excited to begin our new life, grateful for love, support, and blessings.
With love and gratitude,
Arsha and Manikandan

Marriage Day
A Malayali wedding is a vibrant celebration of love, culture, and tradition. The bride wears a traditional saree and gold jewelry, while the groom wears a Mundu with a Kurta or white shirt.
The Muhurtham, determined by the couple's birth charts, sets the tone for the ceremony. The Dakshini ceremony brings the families together, while the Madhuparkam ritual welcomes the groom's party.
The Thalikettu ceremony, accompanied by Chenda Melam, is a highlight, where the groom ties the sacred Thali around the bride's neck. Kanyadaanam follows, where the bride's father offers his daughter's hand in marriage.
A Malayali wedding is a beautiful blend of tradition, culture, and love, celebrating the union of two souls.
