vaibhav & Nikita's story
Our story began in 2019 with a few hesitant chats that turned into something unexpected. One evening, fate brought us face-to-face at a friend’s birthday near my home. As I dropped her home, something in that ride told me she was the one. From there, we grew closer, talked endlessly, and on her birthday, I made her feel special and asked her to be mine — she said yes. After a beautiful year together, I moved to Italy for my master’s, and our love survived three long years of distance. When I returned, we chose to give our relationship a new phase — marriage. But love isn’t always easy; our families objected because of our different castes — she a Rajput, I a Brahmin. Still, we stood strong, fought for three years, and finally earned their blessings. Now, as we begin our forever, we invite you to join our purely desi wedding — a celebration of love that refused to give up.

Fulo wali haldi Haldi
Phoolon wali haldi is a pre-wedding ritual where turmeric mixed with flower petals is gently applied to the bride or groom, symbolizing purity, blessings, and happiness.
A lot of dance and games will be there.
Sangeet
The Sangeet ceremony is a lively pre-wedding event celebrated in Indian weddings, filled with music, dance, and joy. Traditionally held a day or two before the wedding, it brings together both families to celebrate the union of the bride and groom. The word sangeet means “music,” and the event centers around singing traditional songs, choreographed dance performances, and playful celebrations. Family members and friends perform dances, often narrating the couple’s love story or teasing them in a fun way. Modern sangeet ceremonies may include DJs, live bands, themed décor, and stage performances. Beyond entertainment, the sangeet helps families bond, break formal barriers, and create a joyful atmosphere before the wedding rituals begin. It symbolizes happiness, togetherness, and the celebration of love.
Shadi Ceremony & Mandap
The Shadi (wedding) ceremony is the most important ritual in an Indian wedding, where the bride and groom are formally united in marriage according to religious traditions. It is performed in the presence of family, elders, and a priest, who conducts sacred rituals and chants mantras seeking blessings for a happy and prosperous married life. Key rituals often include varmala, kanyadaan, saat phere (seven vows), and sindoor or mangalsutra.
The mandap is the sacred wedding altar where the shadi takes place. It is traditionally a four-pillared structure, beautifully decorated with flowers, fabric, and lights. The mandap represents a holy space and the presence of divine elements, symbolizing protection, stability, and the foundation of married life.
