Pratik & Sheetal's story
A proud Maharashtrian (Marathi) groom weds a graceful Konkani bride in a beautiful inter-caste traditional ceremony set in the heart of Konkan. Our wedding will take place by the stunning Devgad beach, near the divine Kunkeshwar Temple of Lord Shiva.
Surrounded by the sea breeze, coastal traditions, and authentic Kokni cuisine, we invite you to come and celebrate our special day with love, joy, and blessings. Join us as we begin our new journey together!

Weeding
You’re invited to join us for a day filled with beautiful Maharashtrian traditions. The morning begins with engagement rituals, Ganpati and Gramdevata pujan, the ring ceremony, and garhane between 8–9 AM, followed by the Haldi from 10–11 AM. After lunch and a short break, we gather for Punyahavachan from 12:30–1:30 PM with our family priest. In the evening, preparations begin at 4 PM, with a photo session from 5–6 PM, and wedding rituals starting at 6 PM, including Mangalashtak, Jaimala, Halkund, Homa, and Saptapadi. Dinner opens at 7:30 PM, followed by a special Maharashtrian folk-music event with Durgesh Kale & team, adding cultural richness and heartfelt melodies to the celebration. This musical evening brings everyone together, creating a warm, joyful, and memorable end to our wedding day.
