About the hosts
Hemang & Dhruvi's story
We are Dhruvi Patel, a yoga therapist from Ahmedabad, and Hemang Vyas, a software engineer from Bangalore. Our story began on BetterHalf, where we connected online and gradually built a beautiful bond through conversations. A few months later, destiny aligned when Dhruvi moved to Bangalore for studies, and we got to meet in person. After spending three meaningful months together, we knew this was it — and decided to tie the knot.
Our wedding brings together Gujarati traditions with a blend of Patel & Brahmin cultures, and we’re so excited to celebrate this love with all of you.

Ganesh sthapan, mandap muhurat& Grah Shanti
Our Ganesh Sthapan, Mandap Muhurat & Grah Shanti ceremony marks the sacred beginning of our wedding journey. We start by invoking Lord Ganesha to bless us and remove all obstacles. Mandap Muhurat purifies and prepares the wedding space, while Grah Shanti brings peace and positivity into our lives. Along with these meaningful rituals, the day is filled with music, laughter, and joyful dancing with our loved ones. It’s a beautiful blend of tradition and celebration — where spirituality meets festivity — as we begin this new chapter of life together with gratitude, grace, and lots of happy moments.
Haldi, 1 pm onwards
Our Haldi ceremony is one of the most vibrant and joyful moments of our wedding celebrations. Surrounded by our closest family and friends, we are smeared with turmeric, a symbol of love, protection, and glowing beginnings. But it’s not just about rituals — it’s a day full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories! From playful haldi games to dancing to our favorite beats and enjoying lively music, the atmosphere is filled with energy and excitement. With colorful décor, joyful hearts, and yellow everywhere, the Haldi truly brings out the fun side of our wedding, setting the perfect tone for the big day!
Garba ( sangeet sandhya)
This exciting event starts at 7 PM onwards — our Sangeet Night, or as we Gujaratis lovingly call it, Garba Night! 💃🕺
It’s a beautiful blend of music, dance, love, and celebration under one vibrant roof. The evening begins with our Ring Ceremony, where we officially exchange rings and promises in the presence of our loved ones.
After that, it’s time to let loose with dandiya, garba, and non-stop dancing to traditional beats and Bollywood hits! With colorful outfits, joyful vibes, and lots of laughter, this night is all about coming together and celebrating love the Gujarati way!

Marriage (wedding day)
Our Marriage Day begins with the energetic and joyful baarat entry, where the groom arrives dancing with his family and friends to the beats of dhol and music — a celebration full of excitement and color!
As traditions unfold, the bride and groom exchange varmalas (garlands) in a playful yet sacred ritual. Surrounded by loved ones, we perform the holy phere and take vows to begin our new journey together.
The day ends on an emotional note with the vidai ceremony, where the bride bids farewell to her family with teary eyes and a heart full of love, stepping into a new life.
