Next comes Mangalashtak and Saptapadi — the heart of a Marathi wedding. As the holy fire bears witness, we exchange garlands and take seven sacred steps, each one representing promises of love, trust, friendship, and lifelong partnership. Then comes Kanyadaan and Mangalsutra Bandhan — the most emotional moment. With the blessings of our parents, Gayatri becomes a part of Pawan’s family, and he ties the mangalsutra, a symbol of eternal love and respect.
