Likhith Kumar & Ruthvija's story
✨ Our Story: Love That Found Its Way
One chose a life of protection and honor in the Paramilitary Force.
The other shaped intelligence and dreams through Artificial Intelligence.
In the most unexpected way, our paths crossed — not in a fairy tale, but in real life. Despite our contrasting worlds, love became our common language.
We didn’t just fall in love —
We found a partner who understands the silence after a long shift,
who supports during code crashes and training drills,
who sees beauty in both discipline and imagination.
Please join us in the most beautiful chapter of our lives,
as we tie the knot with love, laughter, rituals, and your blessings.
With love and respect,
[CHELIMELA's] & [Bride’s KOTAGIRI'S]
Day 1Friday, July 25, 2025NIZAMABAD
Starting time (approximately): 6:00 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Groom's Haldi
The journey begins with Chelimela Likhith Kumar's Haldi ceremony — a vibrant affair filled with laughter, blessings, turmeric, and nature-inspired drinks for all our guests. This Telangana tradition marks purification and celebration as our groom steps into the sacred phase of matrimony. The air will be filled with mangalavadyam, joyful songs, and blessings.
Upanayanam
In Telangana-style Vishwabrahmin weddings, the "Upanayanam (sacred thread ceremony)" for the groom is an important pre-wedding ritual. It marks the boy’s transition into spiritual and ritual responsibilities. The groom is initiated into Vedic learning by wearing the "Yajnopavita (sacred thread)" and performing "Sandhya Vandanam" under the guidance of elders and priests. This is often done with Vedic chanting, homams (fire rituals), and blessings from family elders, signifying his readiness for marriage and dharmic life.
Day 2Saturday, July 26, 2025NIZAMABAD

Bride's Haldi
The bride’s haldi, filled with grace, turmeric, flowers, and folk songs, is followed by an energetic Sangeet night — an evening of singing, dancing, and joy as families unite. A perfect blend of Telugu folk and fun!
Sangeet
In Telangana-style weddings, the Sangeet at the bride’s home is a vibrant evening of music, dance, and joyful bonding. Though traditionally more popular in North India, Sangeet has been embraced in modern Telugu weddings too. Families and friends perform songs—both folk and cinematic—celebrating the bride’s journey and upcoming marriage. Dressed in colorful attire, guests enjoy light-hearted fun, rhythmic beats, and energetic group dances, creating a festive and emotional prelude to the wedding day.

Starting time (approximately): 9:00 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Wedding
Experience the Vishwabrahmin wedding rituals of Telangana, enriched with spiritual depth and elegance. From Jeelakarra-Bellam, Mangalsutra Dharana, to the soul-touching Talambralu, Saptapadhi, the rituals will culminate in the sacred Arundhati Nakshatram Darshanam — symbolizing eternal togetherness.
All conducted in the presence of sacred fire, family, and divine blessings.
Baraat
In Telangana weddings, the "Baraat" typically takes place after the wedding rituals, symbolizing the groom bringing the bride to his home or community. Accompanied by music, dancing, and family members, the groom’s side proudly presents their new daughter-in-law in a festive procession. It’s a joyful event that blends celebration with tradition, often followed by warm welcomes, blessings, and sometimes additional rituals at the groom's residence or temple.
