Actually I am bengali from city of joy kolkata in west bengal. We meet through a common friend and we dated for 2years, and now we are officially engaged and we are getting married. So it's actually an honour to someone we want share our culture. Our marriage functions are very interesting and glorious. Love to share with you guys.

Weeding
1st the bride and groom will not see there face, so after some rituals finaly they got to see each other in their traditional attire. Then the father of the bride will have her daughter to the groom for rest of the life. Then the fire goes on in the middle of the hall and both of them will give their promises to it. Then the groom will giving sindur to the bride.
