Our story began with an arranged marriage setup, but destiny had already built a beautiful connection between our families — Aishwarya’s brother is Nitin’s best friend. What started as a simple introduction soon turned into heartfelt conversations, growing understanding, and a bond meant to last forever.
Aishwarya is a dedicated professional in the pharmaceutical industry — focused, ambitious, and compassionate in her work.
Nitin is a proud entrepreneur, managing his petrol pump business in his hometown, and a National Level Boxing Champion — a true example of discipline, strength, and determination.
Rooted in our Marathi traditions and guided by our families’ blessings, we discovered not just love, but friendship, respect, and lifelong partnership in each other.

sakharpuda & Supari
In Marathi tradition, Sakharpuda and Supari mark the beautiful beginning of a couple’s wedding journey.
Sakharpuda means “a packet of sugar,” symbolizing sweetness in the new relationship. During this ceremony, the bride and groom exchange sweets and gifts in the presence of family. Elders bless them for a happy and prosperous life ahead. It is the official announcement of their union.
Supari (betel nut) represents strength, commitment, and agreement between both families. The exchange of supari signifies acceptance, respect, and the bonding of two families.
Together, these rituals celebrate love, tradition, and the start of a lifelong journey filled with sweetness and blessings. 💛
Haldi
The Halad ceremony is one of the most joyful and vibrant pre-wedding rituals in Marathi tradition. “Halad” means turmeric, which symbolizes purity, positivity, and good fortune.
During this ceremony, turmeric paste is lovingly applied to the bride and groom by family members and close friends. It is believed to bless the couple with glowing skin, protection from negativity, and a happy married life.
The atmosphere is filled with laughter, traditional songs, and cheerful celebrations. Dressed in yellow attire, the bride and groom are surrounded by love and blessings from their families.

Vaidic Saptapadi Pheras
Vedic Pheras are one of the most sacred and important rituals of a Hindu wedding. Performed around the holy fire (Agni), the bride and groom take seven sacred rounds, known as Saptapadi.
The sacred fire is considered a witness to their marriage, symbolizing purity, strength, and divine blessings. With each phera, the couple makes promises to support, respect, and stand by each other through every phase of life.
The seven vows represent commitment to love, trust, prosperity, family, health, friendship, and lifelong togetherness.

Barat
🎺 Baraat Ceremony 🎺
The Baraat is one of the most energetic and joyful moments of the wedding celebration. It is the grand procession where the groom arrives at the wedding venue with his family and friends.
Accompanied by lively music, dancing, and celebration, the groom makes his way to the bride’s home or wedding venue with great excitement and pride. Dressed in traditional attire, he is welcomed warmly by the bride’s family with rituals and blessings.
The Baraat symbolizes happiness, unity, and the coming together of two families. It sets the festive tone for the wedding ceremony and creates unforgettable memories filled with music, laughter, and love. 💃🥁✨
Mangalashtak / Reception
Mangalashtak is one of the most sacred and beautiful moments in a Marathi wedding ceremony. It consists of a series of traditional verses (shlokas) that are recited during the wedding rituals.
As the Mangalashtak is chanted, the bride and groom stand facing each other with an antarpat (a cloth held between them). At the auspicious moment, the antarpat is removed, and the couple sees each other as life partners while family and guests shower them with akshata (blessed rice) and joyful blessings.
The verses invoke divine blessings for prosperity, happiness, harmony, and a successful married life.
Mangalashtak marks the official and auspicious union of the couple, filling the atmosphere with devotion, tradition, and celebration. ✨💛
