Starting time (approximately): 9:00 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Haldi
The Haldi is arguably the most vibrant, playful, and photogenic event of an Indian wedding! It's the perfect ceremony for your international friends to look forward to because it's less about strict formalities and more about music, laughter, and messy fun.
Sangeet
If the Haldi is the messy, traditional spa day, the Sangeet is the ultimate Bollywood-style club night and talent show rolled into one! It translates literally to "sung together" and is a night completely dedicated to music, dance, and celebrating the union of the two families before the big day.
This is usually the favorite event for international guests because the energy is absolutely electric.
Day 2Wednesday, July 1, 2026Kota
Starting time (approximately): 9:30 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Engagement
In an arranged marriage, the engagement is deeply significant. It is less about a surprise proposal and more about a joyous, mutual agreement. It is the formal declaration where the bride and groom exchange rings in front of their closest family and friends, marking the official beginning of their journey to the mandap.
The Baraat and the Pheras
No Indian wedding is complete without the Baraat! It’s not just an entrance; it’s a full-blown street party. Get ready to dance to the beat of the dhol as we welcome the groom's side in true grand style. Bring your best energy because this is going to be epic! ✨🎺 Once the dancing settles down, the actual wedding takes place inside the Mandap (a beautifully decorated four-pillar canopy). The Pheras (or Saptapadi) is the spiritual heart of the entire marriage.
Reception
Historically in an arranged marriage, the reception is hosted entirely by the groom's family to welcome the new bride into their community. Today, it operates like a glamorous red-carpet gala. The couple sits on a beautifully decorated stage, and guests come up to formally congratulate them, hand over their gifts, and take professional photos.
