About the hosts
AYUSH & ANJALI's story
We’re Ayush and Anjali, and we’ve known each other for over four years now. We met through a common friend, and what started as a simple introduction soon grew into something truly special. Ayush works in Toronto as a Business Analyst, while Anjali is a Senior Marketing Manager based in India. Despite living in different countries, we’ve built a strong bond through constant support, love, and shared values. We’re both 30, and after years of long-distance, countless calls, and visits across time zones, we’re finally ready to start our forever—together. We would love for you to join us in celebrating this beautiful moment. Your presence will make our big day even more memorable! “Some journeys are meant to be shared — we hope you’ll be there to witness the start of ours.”

Haldi
The Haldi ceremony is a joyful pre-wedding ritual where a paste made of turmeric, sandalwood, and rose water is applied to the bride and groom by their close family and friends. It’s believed to bless the couple, ward off evil, and give their skin a natural glow before the big day. It’s a fun, light-hearted event filled with laughter, music, and lots of yellow! Guests often wear yellow outfits, and it’s not uncommon for the celebration to turn playful, with everyone smearing Haldi on each other. It’s one of the most vibrant and emotional moments that marks the beginning of the wedding festivities.
Sangeet , Cocktail and Ring Ceremony
The Sangeet, Cocktail, and Ring Ceremony mark an evening of music, laughter, and love! The Sangeet is all about dancing — where both families come together to perform, celebrate, and share joyful moments through song and rhythm. The Cocktail night adds a modern twist — with drinks, glam, and great conversations as everyone unwinds and celebrates in style. During the Ring Ceremony, the bride and groom exchange rings in the presence of loved ones, symbolizing their promise to each other. It’s a heartwarming moment wrapped in cheers, claps, and happy tears. Together, this evening blends tradition with celebration — a night full of memories, music, and magic!

Wedding & Varmala
The wedding day is the most sacred and emotional part of the celebration — when two souls, and two families, officially become one. Dressed in traditional attire, the bride and groom take part in rituals guided by the priest, surrounded by blessings, love, and warmth. One of the most beautiful moments is the Varmala ceremony, where the bride and groom exchange floral garlands. It symbolizes mutual acceptance and the start of their life together. Often playful and heartfelt, this moment is filled with joy, cheering, and wide smiles. The wedding is not just a ceremony — it’s a promise, a celebration of love, tradition, and the journey ahead.
Wedding Dinner (Reception)
The Wedding Reception is a grand finale to the celebrations — an evening of elegance, laughter, and heartfelt toasts. It’s a time for the newlyweds to celebrate their union with family and friends, surrounded by warm wishes, good food, and joyous vibes. The couple is welcomed with love, and the evening unfolds with speeches, photos, music, and dancing. Dressed in their finest, the bride and groom share their first moments as a married couple with everyone who matters most. The dinner is a feast — a delicious spread to mark the sweet beginning of their new journey. It’s a night to relax, celebrate, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
