Ajay & Revati's story
Our Love Story ❤️ We met on a matrimonial site when both of us were tired of searching for something real. At first, I wasn’t sure about us, and we even stopped talking for a while. But destiny had other plans. He reached out again, asking for one genuine chance. We decided to try — without overthinking, without pressure. Slowly, conversations turned into comfort, comfort turned into understanding, and understanding turned into love. With our families’ blessings, we are now happily engaged and ready to begin our forever together. 💍✨

haldi
Marathi Haldi Ceremony 💛 The Marathi Haldi ceremony is a traditional pre-wedding ritual held separately at the bride’s and groom’s homes. A turmeric paste (halad), often mixed with sandalwood and rose water, is applied to the bride and groom by married women and close family members. In Maharashtrian tradition, the haldi used for the groom is first brought to the bride’s house, symbolizing the union of two families. The ceremony represents purification, protection from evil, and blessings for a happy and prosperous married life. It is celebrated with traditional songs, laughter, and joyful rituals, marking the beautiful beginning of the wedding festivities. 💛✨

wedding
Marathi Wedding Ceremony 💍✨ A Marathi wedding is a beautiful blend of tradition, culture, and simplicity. The ceremony begins with the Ganesh Puja to seek blessings for a smooth and auspicious start. The bride and groom are separated by a cloth called Antarpat while sacred verses (Mangalashtak) are recited. At the right moment, the cloth is removed, and the couple exchanges garlands. The groom ties the Mangalsutra around the bride’s neck, symbolizing their marital bond. The couple then performs the Saptapadi (seven sacred steps) around the holy fire, taking vows of love, trust, and lifelong companionship. The ceremony concludes with blessings from elders, marking the beginning of their new journey together. ❤️✨
