“From strangers to soulmates… our forever begins ❤️ #JoinOurWedding” “A love story worth traveling for ✨” We started as two people who couldn’t stand each other… and ended up planning a wedding together — sounds like a movie, right? “Not just a wedding… an experience of love, culture & celebration 💫” “Pack your bags, you’re invited to an unforgettable Indian wedding 🇮🇳✨” “We went from ‘Who is this person?’ to ‘Let’s get married!’ 😂❤️” “Plot twist: We didn’t like each other… now we’re getting married 😄”In college, Prathamesh and I shared nothing but attitude and eye-rolls. Fast forward a little, and somehow, we became friends. What followed was a slow-burn love story — built on laughter, late-night talks, and a friendship that turned into forever. Convincing our families took time, patience, and a lot of belief in us. But love won — beautifully.“Be our guest, not just to witness… but to experience love ❤️” “Celebrate love with us in the most vibrant way possible ✨”

Sakharpuda-Our Engagement Ceremony
Our engagement ceremony, known as “Sakharpuda,” is an elegant and culturally rich celebration that marks the beginning of our wedding journey. Rooted in Maharashtrian tradition, this ceremony beautifully blends heritage with modern sophistication. The word “Sakharpuda” translates to “a packet of sugar,” symbolizing the sweetness of our union and the joyful bond between two families. The celebration begins with a graceful welcome, where both families come together in a warm and festive atmosphere filled with love, laughter, and blessings. In this ceremony, the bride is adorned with a traditional saree and jewelry gifted by the groom’s family, while the groom is honored with attire and thoughtful gifts from the bride’s side. One of the most cherished moments is the exchange of rings and Sweets — a symbol of commitment, love, and the promise of a lifetime together. The rituals include the application of haldi and kumkum, invoking prosperity, purity, and शुभ blessings from elders. 💍✨
Haldi -A Vibrant Celebration of Love & Blessings
The Haldi ceremony is one of the most joyful and colorful pre-wedding rituals in an Indian wedding. Filled with laughter, music, and bright yellow hues, it is a celebration of happiness, purity, and new beginnings. During this ceremony, a paste made of turmeric (called “haldi”), sandalwood, and fragrant oils is lovingly applied to the bride and groom by family and friends. Turmeric is known in Indian culture for its healing and glowing properties, symbolizing protection, positivity, and a radiant start to married life. Traditionally, the bride and groom wear simple outfits in shades of Green and white, which soon turn into a canvas of haldi and happiness! The atmosphere is often decorated warm and festive setting. The Haldi ceremony beautifully blends tradition with celebration — a moment where emotions, culture, and fun come together before the grand wedding day. We would love for you to experience this vibrant and heart warming celebration with us 💛✨
Saptapadi-The Sacred Wedding Ritual
Saptapadi is the most important and sacred part of a traditional Maharashtrian wedding ceremony. The word “Saptapadi” means “seven steps,” symbolizing the seven vows that the couple takes together as they begin their journey of marriage. During this beautiful ritual, the bride and groom walk seven steps around the sacred fire, which is considered a divine witness to their union. With each step, they make a promise to each other — to love, respect, support, and stand by one another through every phase of life. Each vow represents essential values like trust, strength, prosperity, happiness, family, and lifelong companionship. It is not just a ritual, but a deeply meaningful moment where two individuals commit to building a life together. The ceremony is filled with traditional chants, spiritual energy, and emotional moments as families come together to bless the couple. Saptapadi is the heart of the wedding — a timeless ritual that transforms a relationship into a lifelong bond. 💍✨
Akshata & Varmala–Beautiful Blessings B4 Beginning
In a traditional Maharashtrian wedding, one of the most magical moments begins with Akshata — a heartfelt ritual of blessings — followed by the joyful Varmala ceremony. The ritual starts with Akshata, where guests shower the couple with sacred rice grains mixed with turmeric. This is a beautiful way of offering blessings for happiness, prosperity, and a loving future together. As the soft grains fall over the couple, it creates a deeply emotional and visually stunning moment — a true symbol of love and positive energy coming from everyone present. Immediately after this, the atmosphere turns playful and vibrant with the Varmala ceremony. The bride and groom exchange floral garlands, symbolizing their acceptance of each other as life partners. What makes this even more exciting is the lively involvement of family and friends — cheering, laughter, and fun moments that make it unforgettable. We invite you to witness this beautiful blend of tradition and celebration and to be the Part 💫
