SUDHEER CHANDRA & SHALINI's story
It was a simple meeting arranged through a common family member, yet it turned out to be the most life-changing day of my life. The moment I saw her, there was a quiet certainty in my heart that words couldn’t explain. We spoke, we smiled, and in those few moments, something deep within us knew — this was it. There was no need for endless searching or second guessing. By the end of that first meeting, we had decided, without hesitation, that we would walk the rest of our lives together. What began as an introduction became the beginning of our forever.

GROOM SHOWER AND BRIDAL SHOWER
At a groom and bridal shower, it’s basically a pre-wedding celebration where friends and family from both sides gather to bless, encourage, and celebrate the couple before they get married. Here’s what usually happens in simple terms: 1. Welcome & Introductions – Guests arrive, greet each other, and meet both families. 2. Opening Prayer / Words of Blessing – Someone offers a prayer or good wishes for the couple. 3. Fun Activities & Games – Light-hearted games about the couple, wedding trivia, or advice sharing. 4. Gift Giving – Guests present gifts to help the couple start their married life. 5. Food & Fellowship – Everyone enjoys snacks or a meal together. 6. Closing Words & Thanks – The couple thanks everyone for coming and for their blessings. It’s meant to be joyful, personal, and a little playful, helping both families connect before the wedding day.

WEDDING
A Christian Apostolic wedding centered on God’s Word, without cultural customs like knot-tying or rings. The service begins with worship and prayer, followed by Scripture readings and a sermon on God’s design for marriage. The couple publicly declares their intent and exchanges vows before God and the congregation, replacing rings with the exchange of Holy Bibles as a symbol of building their home on God’s Word. Elders pray over them with laying on of hands, and the congregation offers blessings and greetings. The ceremony ends with a final prayer, benediction, and joyful fellowship. And last but not least with a wonderful south indian style masala infused delicious lunch with many varieties of dishes
RECEPTION
Reception, where Bride and Groom travel to Bride's hometown for their main event. With soulful music playing in the background, dignitaries and relatives bless the newly wedded couple. And dinner follows
