About the hosts
Dhruv & Ayushi's story
We’re Dhruv and Ayushi — two Chartered Accountants, both 28, brought together by chance but bound by love. Dhruv hails from the heartland of Haryana, while Ayushi comes from the serene hills of Shimla. Though we come from different cultural backgrounds, this is the first time either of us met someone with marriage in mind — and somehow, it just felt right. Over the past nine months of our courtship, we’ve grown closer with every shared moment, learning, laughing, and falling deeper in love.
We are tying the knot in Tohana, Haryana — a warm, vibrant Tier 2 town where the spirited traditions of Haryanvi and Himachali cultures will come together to celebrate our union. We would be delighted to have you be a part of our special day, to bless us, dance with us, and make memories that last a lifetime. As they say, “Love doesn’t make the world go ‘round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.”

Haldi Carnival
A Haldi Carnival is a vibrant, joyful twist on the traditional Haldi ceremony, turning it into a colorful and fun-filled pre-wedding celebration — almost like a mini festival!
Engagement
As the stars light up the sky, we’ll be marking the beginning of forever with our Ring Ceremony — a magical evening where love takes center stage.
This isn’t just about exchanging rings — it’s about celebrating us with everyone who matters.
A beautifully lit evening, full of emotions and excitement
Spectacular dance performances by friends and family
DJ & live music to keep the energy high all night
Lavish food spreads and signature drinks
And yes — a whole night party you’ll never forget
Bhaat
The Bhaat ceremony is a heartfelt and emotional pre-wedding ritual, traditionally held a day or two before the wedding. It is when the bride or groom’s maternal side of the family — especially the Mama (maternal uncle) — showers their love, blessings, and gifts on the soon-to-be-wedded couple.
It’s a celebration of the mother’s roots, her family coming forward to honour the occasion with:
Beautiful gifts and clothes for the couple and relatives
Dhol, dancing, and traditional folk songs
A grand feast prepared by the maternal family
And lots of love, emotions, and joyous moments
The Bhaat is not just a ceremony — it’s a tribute to the deep bond between a mother and her family, their pride, happiness, and heartfelt blessings as they prepare to send their child into a new life.
Wedding
An Indian wedding is a celebration of love, tradition, and new beginnings. The groom arrives with his dancing baraat, while the bride makes a graceful entry, capturing every heart. The Varmala follows, where we exchange floral garlands, marking the start of our union. The evening lights up with dance performances, DJ music, and dazzling fireworks, creating a night full of joy. As the rituals begin, we take the sacred seven pheras around the holy fire, making lifelong vows to each other. Finally comes the emotional Vidai, where the bride bids farewell to her family, stepping into a new chapter. From vibrant moments to quiet blessings, our wedding is a blend of celebration, culture, and heartfelt memories — and we can’t wait to share it all with you.
