About the hosts
Srinidhi & Namitha's story
Our story began not with a chance meeting, but with the wisdom and blessings of our families. What started as a thoughtful introduction between the Sri idhi and the Namitha's soon blossomed into a beautiful connection between the two of us. We are excited to transition from 'family-approved' to 'happily ever after' as we begin our journey together.

Wedding
A South Indian Hindu wedding (specifically a Kannada Brahmin or Kannada Hindu wedding, given your background) is less of a "party" and more of a Vedic ritual meant to join two souls and two families for seven lifetimes.
It is characterized by its early morning timing (Muhurtham), the dominance of silk (Kanchipuram sarees and Veshtis), and a focus on tradition over extravagance.
Day 3Friday, April 3, 2026Sagara
Starting time (approximately): 10:00 AM

Reception
While the wedding ceremony is deeply religious and ritualistic, the South Indian Hindu Reception is the social highlight of the festivities. It is the formal "Meet and Greet" where you and Namitha are introduced to the broader community, extended family, and colleagues as a married couple.
In a traditional Kannada context (like yours), the reception usually takes place either the evening before the wedding (popular in many parts of Karnataka) or the evening after the main ceremony.
