Chethan & shirisha's story
A Love That Grew with Time – Our Journey of 12 Years Our love story began in Adugodi, where we lived in the same area. At first, it was simple smiles, small talks, and sweet, quiet moments that made my heart flutter. He was the one who proposed—a shy, beautiful moment that still brings tears to my eyes. The early days were filled with innocent joy, but also struggles, pain, and misunderstandings. There were times when everything felt difficult, yet I never gave up. I chose to stand by him, believe in us, and keep the love alive. We didn’t go out much or make many memories, but our bond grew stronger with every challenge. Now, after 12 years, with our families’ blessings, we are finally getting married. Our relationship wasn’t about grand gestures—it was about trust, patience, and choosing each other every day. I’m excited to start making memories together, grateful for the journey that led us here, and ready to embrace this new chapter with love and hope.

This ceremony is deeply rooted in tradition and is conducted based on astrology, ensuring that the timing is spiritually aligned for a harmonious married life. What Happens During Muhurtam: The ceremony begins with Ganapati Puja, invoking Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles. The Kanyadanam (giving away of the bride) is performed by the bride’s parents, symbolizing the transfer of responsibility and love. The couple ties the Mangalasutram (sacred thread) around each other’s necks, signifying their union. Saptapadi (seven steps) are taken together, representing shared commitments for prosperity, love, and support. Elders bless the couple with words of wisdom, and families exchange gifts and sweets to mark the joyous occasion.
