Alwin & Josna's story
Our love story is start like arrange marriage, faith tradition and the magic of love. Introduced with two families each other. Unfortunately two families in under one parish and also we know each other... But we didn't talk much before. In faith last year the marriage is fixed as an arranged.

Chamtham charthu
It is traditional function of Knanaya catholic. Where the groom undergoes a ceremonial beautification, which includes a shave, haircut, a bath and dressed in new clothes, often followed by a blessing with paachoru ( a mix of rice and jaggery). This is joyous ceremony involves family participation and serves as a symbolic purification and grooming of the groom for this wedding day.

Wedding
Arrival at the Church: The families arrive at the church to pledge for the upcoming marriage.
Kaipidutham (Clasping of Hands): Paternal uncles of the bride and groom clasp hands and receive a blessing from the priest.
Thali Tying: The sacred thali (a symbol of marriage) is tied with a seven-yarn thread.
Nadavili (Shouting Nata, Nata): The traditional cry of "Nata, Nata" (meaning "come") is performed to signify the successful union.
Reception and Blessings
Reception: A reception is held in a hall to celebrate with friends and family.
Koluvilakku: The mother of the groom presents a special marriage lamp, the Koluvilakku, which is lit at the reception.
Blessing with Palm Leaf: The mother then makes a blessing sign on the couple's foreheads with a piece of the blessed Palm Sunday leaf dipped in paddy and water.
Palum Pazhavum (Milk and Fruit): A symbol of unity, the couple shares milk and fruit from the same cup.
Vazhupidutham: A final blessing gesture given to the couple.
