Dakchesh & Shubhani's story
In 2025, during the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, I, a Lucknow Director, met him, a Prayagraj travel owner, through a mutual friend. Amidst the Mela chaos, an immediate spark ignited between our two ambitious worlds.
Our days were spent sharing tea and dreams on the Mela grounds, forging a strong connection. Returning to Lucknow, the distance was hard, leading to a routine of daily calls and texts, building a foundation.
The distance dissolved on Valentine's Day, February 14th. He drove from Prayagraj to surprise me in Lucknow. His arrival was a clear sign of commitment. In that moment, the Kumbh spark became a steady flame, and we became official. Our journey proves that the most important path leads straight to the heart.

Haldi
Phoolon ki Haldi is a beautiful, modern twist on the traditional pre-wedding Haldi ceremony. Instead of, or in addition to, the turmeric paste, the couple is showered and smeared with fresh flower petals (phool), often marigolds and roses.
This ceremony retains the Haldi's essence—cleansing and preparing the couple—but replaces the yellow stain with a vibrant, fragrant, and visually stunning experience. It symbolizes blessings, happiness, and prosperity, making for lovely photos and a joyful, lively celebration before the main wedding event.
Sangeet
The Sangeet is a joyous, non-religious pre-wedding ceremony, typically held a few days before the main Indian wedding. The word literally means "sung together."
It is a grand celebration where both the bride's and groom's families come together to bond and relieve stress from wedding planning. The highlight is the lively night of choreographed dance performances by family and friends, singing traditional and Bollywood songs, and general merrymaking. It’s essentially a vibrant, fun-filled party that celebrates the union of the two families.

Following this, the Pheras (Saat Phere) form the most sacred ritual, where the couple takes seven circles around a sacred fire (Agni), the divine witness. With each Phera, they make a specific vow (Saptapadi) regarding their future life together, ensuring promises of nourishment, strength, prosperity, and companionship, thereby completing the marriage ceremony
