Sangeeth and Haldi
Haldi ceremony what to expect :-
The Ritual: A paste made primarily of turmeric (haldi), mixed with ingredients like sandalwood powder, rose water, and oil, is applied to the couple's face, hands, arms, and feet by married female relatives and close friends.
Symbolism: Turmeric is considered highly auspicious and is believed to have purifying and detoxifying properties, cleansing the couple's bodies and souls before their new life together. It is also known to bring a natural glow to their skin for the wedding day and ward off evil spirits.
Sangeeth ceremony what to expect :-
Music and Dancing: The highlight is an evening filled with lively music, singing, and choreographed dance performances by loved ones on Bollywood or traditional folk songs.
Family Bonding: It serves as a joyful icebreaker, allowing both sides of the family to mingle, get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere, and officially start the wedding celebrations.
