On 2 Nov 2025, Gurinder Singh of Pinjore (Panchkula, Haryana) marries Jyoti, an international Indian wrestler from Delhi, in a grand Punjabi wedding celebrating two states, languages, and traditions. The colorful Baraat rides from Pinjore to Delhi; the sacred Anand Karaj is held at the Gurdwara before the Guru Granth Sahib. Expect Haldi, Mehendi, Ladies Sangeet, dhol-bhangra, and authentic Punjabi cuisine. About 70 guests from the groom's side and nearly 400 from the bride's will join. International visitors get special care: comfortable stays, lehenga for women, kurta pajama and turban for men. Punjabis are famed for warmth and hospitality—consider this your open-armed welcome. Ladies Sangeet & Jaago
On 1st November, the wedding celebrations begin with the vibrant Ladies Sangeet. The evening will echo with dholak beats, giddha, folk songs, and colorful attire filling the air with joy. The highlight of the night will be the traditional Jago ceremony, where women carry a decorated pot (jago) on their heads, singing and dancing to awaken the neighborhood—a beautiful symbol of Punjabi culture. As night deepens, the energy rises with DJ music and dhol, as everyone comes together for an electrifying bhangra. International guests will not just watch but join in, experiencing the thrill of Jago, the grace of giddha, and the power of bhangra. It’s more than a ritual—it’s a living celebration of Punjab’s tradition, warmth, and hospitality.

Traditional Functions, Baraat, Wedding & Dinner
On 2nd November, the grand wedding procession will depart from Pinjore to Delhi. The day will begin with the traditional Ghurchadhi, where the groom’s sister-in-law applies kohl to his eyes and sisters feed lentils to the horse. The beats of dhol and Punjabi boliyan sung by bhangra artists will fill the air with energy, while relatives dance with joy. Upon reaching Delhi, the procession will receive a warm welcome at Gurdwara Sri Nanak Piau Sahib, where the sacred Anand Karaj will take place before Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Afterward, guests will move to their accommodations for rest. Later in the evening, a grand get-together will follow with a delicious dinner, lively DJ, gifts, and heartfelt blessings, making the night unforgettable. The most special part—international guests will be embraced as family, experiencing the true warmth and hospitality Punjabis are known for.

On the evening of 4th November, Pinjore will witness our grand Wedding Reception, where family, friends, and well-wishers from the groom’s side will gather to bless the newlywed couple with love and gifts. 🌸✨ A lavish dinner, refreshing drinks, music, and energetic Punjabi bhangra will make the night unforgettable. 🎶🥂 Specially for our international guests, men will be dressed in elegant suits while women will be adorned in graceful gowns, so they can blend seamlessly into the celebration. Until 11 PM, laughter, dance, and joy will fill the atmosphere, painting Pinjore’s night with colors of happiness. This reception is not just an event, but a celebration of togetherness—where Indian tradition meets modern style in perfect harmony. 💖
