Once upon a time, under the blazing Central Asian sun, a chubby little boy ran barefoot through the hills of Nedumangad, chasing footballs, adventures, and the occasional fight with his big brother. His heart full of confidence. A few kilometres away in Trivandrum, a little girl was building her own world—loving stories, dancing freely, and proudly being the cheeky youngest sister to two protective big sisters. Though close in distance, their childhoods unfolded on separate paths, quietly guided by God. In 2011, they briefly crossed paths at St Thomas Central School, unnoticed and unimportant. Years later, fate tried again at Trivandrum Medical College. Their first real meeting was far from magical—he was grumpy, she was reserved, and neither was impressed. Time softened edges. Conversations grew longer. Friendship followed. And across long-distance calls and Army postings, affection turned into love. On September 25th, 2020, she said yes.
