Haldi
The Haldi ceremony is one of the most joyful and vibrant pre-wedding traditions in India. During this ritual, family and friends apply a golden paste made from turmeric, sandalwood, rosewater, and other fragrant ingredients onto the bride and groom. It’s a celebration bursting with laughter, color, and dance and blessings — one where the couple is literally covered in sunshine! The glowing yellow of turmeric symbolizes prosperity, happiness, and a fresh start, while the ritual itself is believed to ward off negativity and purify the soul before the sacred wedding vows. It’s an intimate, playful, and deeply symbolic moment, a truly exotic blend of love, tradition, and golden hues.
Mehendi
The Mehendi ceremony is an enchanting and artistic ceremony where the bride’s hands and feet are adorned with intricate henna designs made from natural mehendi paste — creating delicate patterns that symbolize love, joy, and good fortune. The air fills with music, dancing, laughter, and the scent of henna, as friends and family join in the festivities. It’s believed that the darker the mehendi stain, the deeper the love between the couple, a beautiful tradition blending beauty and meaning. For guests, it’s a mesmerizing glimpse into our rich culture and an opportunity to adorn their own hands with beautiful henna art.
Sangeet/Engagement
Sangeet is one of the most lively and glamorous celebrations filled with music, dance, and pure joy. It’s an evening where both families come together to sing, perform, and celebrate the union of the couple in true Bollywood style. The atmosphere sparkles with colorful lights, rhythmic beats, and infectious energy, as everyone from grandparents to cousins takes the stage to dance their hearts out. For guests, it’s a spectacular night of rhythm and revelry, offering a dazzling glimpse into our love for celebration, music, and togetherness

Bhaat Ceremony
Bhaat celebrates the special bond between a mother’s family and her children. A beautiful moment when the bride or groom’s maternal uncle (mama) and his family visit to offer their love, blessings, and gifts before the wedding.
The ceremony is filled with warmth and emotion, as the mother’s side arrives bearing traditional gifts, clothes, jewelry, and sweets for the bride or groom and their relatives. It symbolizes the mama’s promise of support and affection, and his role in ensuring the wedding is celebrated with joy and abundance.
It is a touching glimpse into our deep-rooted family values and traditions, where gratitude, affection, and togetherness shine brighter than gold. It’s an intimate yet vibrant gathering that captures the true spirit of Indian weddings.
Baraat
Baraat is a grand procession that marks the groom’s joyful journey to the wedding venue. Accompanied by a lively band, dhol, and dancing relatives, the groom arrives in style on a decorated horse or royal chariot surrounded by friends and family dancing with unrestrained joy.
It’s where tradition meets pure festivity. The groom’s family and friends, known as the baraatis, dance their way through a royal procession on the streets, announcing the arrival of the wedding with infectious enthusiasm.
For guests, Baraat is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to join the revelry, dance to the beat of the dhol, and witness the electric energy of an Indian wedding in full swing.
Varmala
The Varmala ceremony is the first time the bride and groom publicly accept each other as partners. In this enchanting ritual, the couple exchanges floral garlands, each placing one around the other’s neck as a gesture of love, respect, and mutual acceptance.
Set against the backdrop of music, cheers, and showers of flower petals, the Varmala feels almost magical — a moment where two families unite and two hearts begin their journey together. The garlands, often made of fragrant roses or marigolds, represent prosperity, happiness, and the promise of togetherness.
The Varmala marks the true beginning of the wedding celebration, when the bride and groom finally meet amidst a burst of color, love, and celebration.
Vivaah
The Vivaah Sanskar, is the sacred heart of an Indian wedding where the bride and groom are united in the presence of fire, family, and divine blessings. Held under a beautifully decorated mandap adorned with flowers and lights, this ceremony is a breathtaking blend of spirituality and symbolism.
As Vedic chants fill the air, the couple takes their place before the sacred fire (Agni) as the eternal witness to their vows. Each ritual performed carries deep meaning: the Kanyadaan, where the bride’s parents entrust her to the groom; the Sindoor and Mangalsutra, symbolizing commitment and eternal bond; and the most significant of all, the Saptapadi or seven sacred vows.
During the Phere, the couple circles the holy fire seven times, each round representing a promise of loyalty, strength and lifelong companionship. These steps bind them not just in marriage, but in soulful partnership across lifetimes. It’s the moment where rituals turn into emotions and two lives are woven into one story.
