Hello! My name is Saroja, and I come from a South Indian family in Hyderabad, India. A few years ago I moved to Virginia to pursue my PhD, and that journey brought the most wonderful person into my life, Tristen. Tristen grew up in Virginia and studied mechanical engineering. He has worked very hard to build his life on his own and is truly self-made. Over time we became each other’s biggest support system, and now we are excited to celebrate our marriage with a traditional South Indian temple wedding in Hyderabad. Because Tristen built much of his life independently, he does not have many family members who can travel to India. In Indian weddings, the presence of family and friends from the groom’s side is very special, so we would love to invite kind travelers to join me and my family and be part of the celebrations as the groom’s side.
