Sonu Kumar & Nisha's story
Our story began with the blessings of our families in a beautiful arranged marriage setup. We met through our parents, and what started as a formal introduction soon turned into meaningful conversations and a growing understanding between us. At the age of 25, we both realized that we were ready to take this important step in life—and even more special, we found that we were meant for each other. We both work in the corporate world, balancing ambition with values, and we discovered a shared vision for life, respect for each other’s dreams, and a deep sense of compatibility. From strangers to partners, our journey has been simple, genuine, and filled with trust. We warmly invite you to be a part of our special day as we begin this new chapter together. Your presence will make our celebration even more memorable!

Tilak Ceremony
The Tilak Ceremony is a traditional pre-wedding ritual in many Indian weddings, symbolizing the formal acceptance of the groom by the bride’s family. During this ceremony, the bride’s family visits the groom’s home with gifts, मिठाई (sweets), clothes, and sometimes jewelry. The bride’s father or elder applies a sacred tilak (vermilion mark) on the groom’s forehead as a sign of respect, शुभ आशीर्वाद (blessings), and approval. This ritual strengthens the bond between both families and marks the beginning of wedding celebrations. It is often accompanied by rituals, exchange of gifts, and sometimes music and small celebrations. The Tilak Ceremony reflects love, honor, and the coming together of two families with joy and happiness.

Haldi & Janeu Ceremony (Indian Wedding Rituals)
The Haldi Ceremony is a joyful pre-wedding ritual where a paste of turmeric, sandalwood, and rose water is applied to the bride and groom by family members. This ritual is believed to purify, protect from evil, and bring a natural glow to the skin before the wedding. It is filled with fun, laughter, music, and yellow-themed decorations, symbolizing happiness and positivity. The Janeu Ceremony (also known as Upanayan or sacred thread ritual) is a traditional practice in some Hindu weddings, especially for the groom. In this ceremony, the groom wears a sacred thread (janeu), signifying responsibility, purity, and readiness to enter a new phase of life—marriage. It includes prayers, rituals by priests, and blessings from elders. Both ceremonies hold deep cultural and spiritual importance, marking the groom and bride’s preparation for their wedding journey.
