Raja Priyadarshan & Anisha's story
Hello from Odisha! We are Anisha (27) and Raja (28) from Bhadrak, India. We met in college five years ago, where our friendship slowly turned into love. One of our favorite memories is studying late at night on phone calls while preparing for jobs, motivating each other and dreaming about the future. Our wedding will be on May 3, 2026, in our village near Bhadrak. Guests will experience traditional Odia ceremonies like Haldi and Mehendi, along with homemade local food and the warmth of village life. Our cousins will also be there to guide international guests and explain the rituals so everyone feels comfortable. ✨

Haldi
This is a fun-filled event where the loved ones apply haldi(turmeric) on the bride to bless her with purity,joy and good fortune and then play with it among themselves. Guests are welcome to join us and enjoy the "haldi-holi" with ous.
Mehendi
Its a joyful gathering before the wedding where the hands and feet of the bride is decorated with beautiful henna designs. Family and friends apply mehendi while everyone enjoys food music dance. Guests are welcome to be a part of us eat apply mehendi and dance their hearts out.

Wedding
The wedding day will be a beautiful celebration of traditions, rituals, and joyful moments shared with family and friends. The day will begin with sacred morning ceremonies guided by the priest and elders. After a short break in the afternoon, guests will gather again in the evening for the main wedding ceremony, where the couple will exchange garlands, take their vows, and begin their new journey together. Guests are warmly invited to witness the rituals, celebrate with the families, and be part of this special day. Note on attire: For the daytime rituals, guests are encouraged to wear light and comfortable ethnic outfits such as kurta sets or simple traditional attire. In the evening, feel free to embrace festive glam with lehengas, sarees, sherwanis, and other elegant ethnic wear.
