About the hosts
Shobith & Rachna's story
Our story began in 2015, when Rachna was in 9th standard and Shobith in 10th. What started as a sweet school-time crush slowly became a love that grew with us. ❤️ Through the years came laughter, beautiful memories, fights, misunderstandings, tears, sacrifices and life’s toughest moments—but every challenge taught us to love, care and choose each other a little more.
Our biggest journey was convincing our parents to believe in our love. A kshtriya groom and tamil bhramin bride, with vast cultural differences After countless conversations, patience and endless effort, we finally received their blessings.❤️
On 1st June, Shobith finally asked, “Will you marry me?”💍Rachna said YES!
Now, after growing from school kids into life partners, we’re ready to begin forever on 1st November, surrounded by our families, traditions and loved ones, in a beautiful Tamil Brahmin Iyengar wedding.

Our Haldi ceremony will be a joyful celebration filled with turmeric, flowers, music, laughter and family traditions. 🌼💛 Friends and family will come together to bless us, apply haldi, dance, take pictures and enjoy some unforgettable moments before the wedding festivities begin.

mangane & gondal pooja
Mangane marks the beautiful beginning of the wedding celebrations, where both families come together by exchanging gifts to bless the couple and formally celebrate their union with love, joy and traditional rituals. 💛
The Gondal Pooja is a sacred ceremony seeking divine blessings and protection for the wedding festivities and the couple’s new journey together. 🙏✨

Our Sangeet will be a lively evening filled with music, dance, laughter and unforgettable performances by our family and friends. 💃🕺 From fun surprises and playful moments to celebrating Rachna & Shobith’s journey together, it’s a night for everyone to let loose and celebrate.

The most precious day of our journey will be our Muhurtham, where Rachna and Shobith begin their married life surrounded by the blessings of our families, elders and loved ones. 🙏❤️
Our traditional Tamil Brahmin Iyengar wedding will be filled with sacred Vedic rituals, beautiful customs, music, flowers and joyful celebrations—from the Oonjal ceremony and Kashi Yatra to the Maalai Maatral, Oonjal, Kanyadanam, Mangalya Dharanam and the sacred Saptapadi.
As the Thali is tied and we take our wedding vows, two lives and two families become one.
