About the hosts
Abu & Muskan's story
Abu Talha and Muskan first met during their college years, where their friendship gradually grew into love. Over time, they developed a strong bond based on trust, respect, understanding, and care for each other. After sharing many memorable moments, they realised they wanted to spend their lives together. With the blessings and support of their families, they decided to have a love marriage. Their wedding celebrations will take place in Dehradun, India, from 7th to 9th October. Guests will experience the warmth of an Indian Muslim wedding, including beautiful Muslim traditions, family gatherings, traditional food, and celebrations. On 7th October, the Aqeeqah of the groom’s elder brother’s son will also take place, making the occasion even more special. The wedding will bring everyone together to celebrate love, family, faith, culture, and the beginning of a beautiful new journey for Abu Talha and Muskan.

Haqiqa and haldi mhendi
On 7th October, we will have a special day filled with family celebrations and traditions. Along with the Aqeeqah of the groom’s elder brother’s son, we will also celebrate the Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies. Guests will get to experience a beautiful blend of Islamic and Indian wedding traditions, with prayers, family gatherings, traditional customs, music, food, and joyful celebrations. The Aqeeqah will be a meaningful family occasion, while the Haldi and Mehendi will bring colour, fun, and excitement to the wedding festivities. It will be a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to come together, enjoy each other’s company, take part in the celebrations, and create memorable moments. Braat
On 8th October, we will celebrate the Baraat, one of the most exciting and joyful parts of the wedding. The day will be filled with music, dancing, happiness, and family celebrations as the groom, Abu Talha, sets off with his family and friends to meet the bride, Muskan. Guests will get to experience the vibrant atmosphere of a traditional Indian Muslim Baraat, with colourful celebrations, beautiful outfits, lively music, and plenty of memorable moments. Family members and friends will come together to celebrate the groom’s special day and share their happiness. The Baraat will lead to the main wedding ceremony, where Abu Talha and Muskan will officially begin their new journey together. It will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to enjoy the traditions, meet both families, take photographs, share delicious food, and celebrate the couple’s love. The 9th of October will be a special day as we celebrate the Walima, marking the beautiful beginning of Abu Talha and Muskan’s married life. The Walima will bring together family, friends, and loved ones for a warm and joyful gathering filled with happiness, blessings, and celebration. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food, meet both families, share stories, take photographs, and celebrate the newly married couple. The atmosphere will be welcoming, relaxed, and full of joy as everyone comes together to congratulate Abu Talha and Muskan. The Walima is an important Muslim wedding tradition and a wonderful way to share the happiness of the marriage with family, friends, and guests.
