It’s Maria, a registered nurse works with NHS in South Wales and the bride. Dennish(the groom) works as a chef. Here i will tell you about our small journey together. We met exactly 5 years ago, while we both starts working. The exciting part was we both from Knanaya family were we can celebrate our wedding several days with many of the ceremonies centered around the home.we are from Kerala aka The Gods Own Country 🌴
Here is about Knanaya Catholic family.
The story of the Knanaya Catholics begins with a group of Jewish Christians who, according to tradition, migrated from Mesopotamia to southern India in 345 A.D., led by a merchant known as Thomas of Kinai.
It’s a 3 days celebration in two district. A Glimpse into Knanaya Wedding Customs💃🏼

Kallyanam (Wedding)
The Final Wedding Ceremony is the culmination of all the preceding customs and rituals. It includes the sacred exchange of vows, the tying of the nuptial knot, and the solemnization of the marriage. This ceremony is conducted in a church and it formalizes the union of the couple in the presence of family, friends, and the divine. The Final Wedding Ceremony is a profound and joyous moment, marking the beginning of the couple’s journey as life partners.
The Highlight of the final wedding is the song called “Baru Mariyam” at the end of wedding in church.
