Sandeep & Jyoti singh's story
Our journey, spanning nearly fifteen years, is a testament to the enduring power of a bond forged in the innocence of our schooling days. What began as a childhood connection in Rewa evolved into a profound love that weathered the challenges of distance and time. Even as my path led me to New Delhi for higher studies and eventually to a role in Parliamentary Affairs for the Government of India—while she expertly managed our business interests in the UAE—our commitment remained unshaken. This decade and a half of shared growth has now beautifully culminated in an "arranged-love" marriage. In the tapestry of Indian culture, a marriage is not merely a contract between two individuals but a sacred union of two families, anchored in ancient Sanskars. The transition of our relationship into a formal union reflects the deep-rooted value of Kutumb (family),Our wedding will be sanctified through rituals that carry millenia of spiritual significance:

Wedding
The day ignites with the Baraat, the groom’s lively procession accompanied by music and dancing. Upon arrival, the Milni ceremony takes place, where families embrace, symbolizing the merging of two lineages. Guests then gather for a vibrant lunch or high tea, sharing in the joy of the union. The Sacred Union (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM) The heart of the day unfolds at the Mandap. Under this floral canopy, the couple performs Vedic rituals: • Kanyadaan: The emotional giving away of the bride. • Pani-Grahana: The couple joins hands, pledging their hearts. • Saptapadi: The defining "Seven Steps" around the holy fire (Agni), where each circle represents a specific life vow—from prosperity to lifelong friendship.
Sangeet | Jaimala | Dinner
after 5:00 PM, the air will be filled with a curated musical backdrop. Whether it’s the soulful strings of a live violin, a traditional shehnai, or a contemporary fusion band, the music sets the stage for the Jaimala. This is the visual centerpiece of the night. Expect a dramatic entrance—perhaps accompanied by cold pyros or a shower of rose petals—as the couple exchanges garlands. The music during this moment will peak, creating a cinematic experience for all the guests. 2. The Musical Soirée Once the formal exchange is complete, the "Musical" element takes center stage. This isn't just background noise; it's an invitation to celebrate. Live Performance Dance Floor Opening 3. Dinner & Late-Night Festivities Dinner is served as a continuous feast, allowing guests to mingle and eat at their own pace. The Spread: A multi-cuisine buffet featuring live counters (Teppanyaki, Pasta, or local street food) to keep the energy interactive. Late-Night Vibe:

Vidaai
The Vidaai is the emotional crescendo of the wedding, a poignant transition where the bride bids a graceful farewell to her childhood home. As the sun sets and the final dinner concludes, this ritual marks the moment she steps into her new life as a daughter of her groom’s family. Accompanied by her parents and loved ones, the bride traditionally throws handfuls of rice or coins over her head—a symbolic gesture of repaying her "debt" to her home and wishing her family eternal prosperity
