Dress Code: Traditional Attire The wedding day begins with sacred rituals and family blessings. At 5:00 AM, the Haldi Water Ceremony will take place, where family members lovingly pour turmeric-infused water on the bride and groom, symbolizing purity, prosperity, and a blessed new beginning. The main wedding ceremonies will follow, culminating in the auspicious Mahurtham between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM under the blessings of Ashwini Nakshatra. During this sacred time, the groom will tie the Mangala Sutra (Thali), marking the union of the couple. The ceremony will also include the revered Sapthapadi (Seven Sacred Steps), where the couple takes seven vows together for a lifetime of love, trust, and companionship.
