Lavina and I come from two vibrant corners of India, blending the best of both worlds in our story. I’m from Mangalore, on the scenic west coast, while Lavina hails from the cultural heart of West Bengal in the east. Our wedding is a beautiful fusion of Bengali and Mangalorean Catholic traditions, with a touch of Bollywood flair to honor Lavina’s deep love for Hindi cinema. Lavina, a passionate marine biologist, works closely with sharks, while I navigate the world of media and theatre. Our shared love for nature has always been a cornerstone of our connection, and we wanted our wedding to reflect that. So, we’ve chosen the serene backwaters of River Phalguni as the backdrop for our ceremony, aiming for a magical sunset celebration. It will be an intimate, outdoor evening wedding, where the natural beauty of the river, the sky, and our combined traditions will come together in the most memorable way.
