About the hosts
Anurag & Pooja's story
Our paths crossed in a way that felt like perfect timing. Whether we are pushing through a workout at the gym or enjoying a quiet moment on a terrace, we’ve found a balance that just works. We’ve grown from getting to know each other's daily routines to planning a lifetime together, grounded in support and a shared sense of humor.

Starting time (approximately): 6:30 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Sangeet
The Focus: Performances by friends and family, a professional DJ, and choreographed dances. The Colors: While the bride might save her maroon and gold for the big day, for the Sangeet, you both could opt for shimmering fabrics like sequined navy, emerald green, or deep purple.
The Mehendi Ceremony
The Vibe: Relaxed, artistic, and colorful. The Ritual: The bride has intricate henna designs applied to her hands and feet. For the groom, it’s customary to have a small, symbolic mark or his bride's initials hidden in a design on his palm. Dress Code: Light, breezy fabrics. Since the bride's main outfit is a heavy maroon velvet, she might wear a vibrant green or yellow silk lehenga here for contrast. For you, a simple Kurta-Pyjama with a printed vest works perfectly.
The Haldi Ceremony
If the Mehendi happens on Day 1, the Haldi often takes place on the morning of Day 2. The Vibe: Playful, messy, and high-energy. The Ritual: Family members apply a paste of turmeric (haldi), oil, and water to the bride and groom. It’s a "purification" ritual meant to give you a natural glow for the wedding. The Dress Code: Yellow is mandatory! Most guests will wear shades of mustard, lemon, or marigold. You should wear an old or simple yellow kurta, as it will likely get stained with turmeric.
