Avinash & Gunashree's story
I am Gunashree, a Kannada girl from Bangalore, Karnataka. During the lockdown of Covid, I joined a remote company, and that is where I first saw Avinash, a Marathi boy from Amravati, Maharashtra. My first thought He was too cute, surely already taken.
Within a months I received an offer from another MNC and left the company. We never spoke during that time, though we had added each other on social media. He remained just a silent name on my screen.
One day, I posted “tell me anything anonymously” on my WhatsApp story. Among the replies, one message stopped my heart. “I had a huge crush on you in *** company.” Shock, excitement, and nervousness rushed in together. After some guessing, I suspected it was him but no courage to ask.
The silence finally broke when he replied to my story on his birthday. Conversations began, slowly turning into comfort, laughter, and love. Five years later, here we are, two cultures, two languages, one story, getting married to each other in Bangalore.

Mangalya Moohurtham
The second day of the marriage begins with the most sacred and awaited moment — the tying of the Mangalya. This divine thread is not just an ornament; it carries the essence of purity, devotion, and the lifelong bond between the bride and groom. As the groom ties the Mangalya around the bride’s neck, the atmosphere fills with blessings, chants, and the sound of auspicious music. This single moment transforms the couple into husband and wife, marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with love, trust, and togetherness. Elders shower them with heartfelt blessings, praying for their prosperous future, harmony, and strength through every phase of life.
