pushpendra & Nikita's story
Nikita and I met on a matrimonial portal and clicked instantly. You must have heard of arranged marriages in India, where parents decide the union. Ours is a love marriage, arranged by us. We shared many memories in the last few months- the first meet, a road trip together, the couple dance, the parents' meeting, the proposal, and finally being roka-fied (a ritual where the two families decide to stop their hunt and the couple is given the blessings). There is a lot more in this Indian Marriage Blockbuster. We invite you to become part of our journey, so we can look back at our marriage photo albums and can't identify who this excited person was! Welcome 🙏

Ganesh Puja- Start with Lord's Blessings
In India, at the start of every big event, we pray to lord Ganesh to give us his blessings. In this ritual, amidst the sounds of dhols and the aroma of incense, the bride and groom’s families offer prayers, sweets, and flowers to a beautifully decorated idol of Ganesh ji.
Kalash Puja- A Rajasthani Ritual
Kalash is a very old tradition in which the ladies of the village go to the well to get water so that they can host all the attendees and there is no water shortage. Even today, this ritual is done to value the age-old tradition.

Tilak & Engagement
The Tilak ceremony is a pre-wedding ritual, primarily focused on the groom. In this ritual, a sacred mark, the "tilak" (a paste of kumkum/vermilion and rice grains), is applied on the groom's forehead. This is traditionally done by the bride's father or brother. This act symbolizes blessings, respect, good fortune, and the official acceptance of the groom as their future son-in-law. After that, engagement, often called "Sagai", takes place. This involves a ring exchange, symbolizing the commitment.
Haldi Ceremony – A Vibrant Prelude to the Wedding
The Haldi ceremony is a cherished pre-wedding ritual, celebrated with love, laughter, and vibrant traditions. Held a day before the wedding, it marks the beginning of the festivities, bringing blessings, positivity, and joy to the couple. It is more than just applying turmeric paste! The ceremony is filled with showers of flower petals, lively music, and playful moments with family and friends. Loved ones surround the bride and groom as a soothing haldi paste is applied, which is believed to enhance their glow and ward off negativity. The air is filled with fun, floral decorations, and heartfelt emotions as everyone dances, plays with petals, and celebrates the couple’s new journey. This modern twist on tradition makes the Haldi ceremony a breathtakingly beautiful experience, full of love and happiness! ✨🌸
Sangeet – A Night of Music, Dance & Celebration
The Sangeet ceremony is one of the most exciting pre-wedding celebrations, where music, dance, and laughter bring families together for an unforgettable night. It’s a time when both families set aside all formalities and immerse themselves in joy, creating memories that last a lifetime. The evening begins with dazzling performances by family and friends, choreographed dances, and heartfelt dedications to the couple. Traditional folk songs blend with modern beats, filling the air with energy and excitement. The couple joins in the fun, celebrating their love with synchronized moves and joyful moments. Beyond the dance floor, the Sangeet is also a time for fun games, emotional speeches, and strengthening bonds between both families. With stunning décor, lively beats, and non-stop celebrations, the Sangeet night is the perfect way to kick-start the wedding festivities with rhythm, love, and endless happiness! 🎶💃✨

Baarat- The Indian Horse Ride
The Groom comes on a horse, with his family where they dance with joy. Once they reach the wedding venue, the ritual of Toran happens. This function signifies that the groom’s family comes to the bride’s family and ask for their daughter. In India, Marriage is a union of two family, so you will observe many family rituals.
The Grand Wedding – A Royal Celebration of Love
Once the groom arrives in style, with his Baraat, ready to take his bride home, the celebrations peak, and the couple meets for the Varmala ceremony. In Varmala Ceremony, the bride and groom exchange garlands, marking the beginning of their union in the presence of family and friends. This magical moment is filled with joy, cheers, and a beautiful blend of tradition and fun. Then comes the most important ritual- the Mandap ceremony. Under the glow of traditional fire and amidst sacred chants, we take our vows, promising love, trust, and togetherness for a lifetime. Join us for this grand celebration, shower your blessings, and be part of our unforgettable wedding! 💃🥂💍✨
