Biswajit & Ankita's story
The morning light broke over the balcony, but the real warmth was inside, where two steaming mugs of chai sat on the table next to a growing stack of wedding invitations.
"Okay, be honest," she said, holding up a sleek, modern font option, then a classic, traditional one. "Are we elegant and timeless, or fun and chaotic?"
He laughed, reaching over to take the modern card and place it gently on top of the traditional one. "We're a mix of both. Traditional for the family, but definitely chaotic behind the scenes."

Haldi & sangeet
1. Haldi (The Cleansing Ritual)
What happens: A paste made of turmeric (haldi), sandalwood, and oils is applied to the bride and groom's face, neck, hands, and feet by family and friends.
2. Mehendi (The Henna Intricate Art)
What happens: Detailed, beautiful henna patterns are applied to the bride's hands and feet, often hiding the groom's name or initials within the design. Female guests also get smaller henna designs on their hands.
3. Sangeet (The Musical Celebration)
What happens: A massive, high-energy party dedicated to music and dance. Family members, friends, and the couple themselves perform choreographed dances on a stage, often telling the story of how the couple met.
The vibe: Electric, glamorous, and loud. Think of it as a friendly dance-off between the bride's family and the groom's family, followed by a wide-open dance floor with a DJ.
