About the hosts
Vaibhav & Divyani's story
Ours is a story that began with an introduction on a matrimonial app. An arranged beginning that slowly found its own rhythm. What started as a conversation soon turned into long chats, shared laughter, and thoughtful silences. We chose not to rush, giving ourselves the time to truly know each other, until we realised this wasn’t just a match made on paper, but a bond built on love, respect, and choice.
Coming from traditional families with deep cultural values, we found comfort in how familiar everything felt, yet excitement in how fresh it was. With both of us working in advertising, creativity, conversations, and shared perspectives became the language of our connection.
Somewhere between planning ideas and dreaming about the future, friendship turned into love, making this an arranged meeting that led to a love worth celebrating.
As we begin this beautiful new chapter, we would love for you to be a part of our joy, our celebrations, and our forever.
With love,
DivyaBhav

Mehendi Ceremony
The Mehendi ceremony is a vibrant and joyful pre-wedding celebration, being held a day before the wedding. It’s a time for laughter, music, and togetherness, where tradition meets fun.
What happens during the Mehendi ceremony?
Natural henna (mehendi) paste is applied to the bride’s hands and feet, and often to the groom and close family members as well. Intricate designs—ranging from floral patterns to symbols and even the groom’s initials-are carefully drawn.
The bride typically sits at the centre while family and friends take turns applying mehendi, singing traditional songs, teasing, and showering blessings.

Starting time (approximately): 8:00 AM
Venue and host contact details will be disclosed upon booking.
Haldi Ceremony
The Haldi ceremony is one of the most joyful and meaningful pre-wedding rituals in an Indian wedding. It’s usually held on the same day or the wedding or 1 day before the wedding, separately for the bride and groom.
What happens in the Haldi ceremony?
Family members and friends apply a paste of turmeric (haldi) - often mixed with sandalwood, rose water, or oil-on the bride’s and groom’s face, arms, and feet. It’s done amid laughter, music, teasing, and blessings.
Think of it as:
A blessing ritual
A skin-care ritual
And a happiness ritual - all rolled into one 😊
Sehra Bandi & Ghudchadi
The wedding rituals begin at the groom’s home with Sehra Bandi, where elders tie the sehra (a floral veil) to the groom’s turban, symbolising protection, humility, and blessings as he steps into a new phase of life.
This is followed by Ghudchadi, where the groom mounts a decorated horse. It represents his readiness to take on the responsibilities of marriage and lead his household with honour.
Baaraat (The Groom’s Procession)
The Baaraat is a joyful procession where the groom, along with his family and friends, travels to the wedding venue dancing to dhol beats and music. It symbolises celebration, pride, and the coming together of two families.
Wedding Rituals & Pheras
The heart of the Hindu wedding takes place under the Mandap, with the sacred fire (Agni) as witness.
Key rituals include:
Kanyadaan - The bride’s parents entrust their daughter to the groom, symbolising love and responsibility.
Mangal Pheras - The bride and groom take seven sacred rounds around the fire, each representing a vow: trust, respect, prosperity, health, family, companionship, and lifelong friendship.
Sindoor & Mangalsutra - The groom applies sindoor and ties the mangalsutra, symbolising marriage and commitment.
With the completion of the pheras, the couple is spiritually and socially united as husband and wife.
Vidaai (The Emotional Farewell)
The Vidaai marks the bride’s farewell from her parental home as she begins her new life. It is one of the most emotional moments of the wedding, filled with tears, blessings, and heartfelt goodbyes.
