Abhimanyu & Deepika's story
It was love at first chat! :) Both, Deepika & Abhimanyu, hail from Rajasthan and come from Rajput families (descendants of the ancient Indian warrior/Kshatriya classes). An arranged setup with love and mutual respect being the driving force between them, both have similar thoughts and see their future in the very same direction. They both were set-up by their families, and in no time the relationship changed its status from being: Friends > In a relationship > Engaged > To a married couple in less than a month's time. They both took ages to find the right partner, but when they did, it was almost like their souls first spoke to each other even before they fell in love. As it's said that god plans for us well in advance, that came true in this case. Both are stokes to find each other and are excited for what's to follow! As truly said by Sarah Dessen: "There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment."

Haldi
The Haldi ceremony is a joyful Indian pre-wedding ritual where a paste of turmeric (haldi) is applied to the bride and groom by family and friends, symbolizing purity, blessings, prosperity, and protection from the evil eye. Held typically the day before the wedding, this vibrant, yellow-themed event blesses the couple with good fortune, calms nerves, and purifies the body before the main ceremony.
Mehendi
A Mehndi ceremony is a vibrant, pre-wedding Asian tradition where the bride and female guests get intricate henna (mehndi) designs applied to their hands and feet, symbolizing good fortune, love, and prosperity, often featuring music, dance, and joyous family gatherings with an emphasis on the bride's relaxation and adornment before the wedding. The darker the henna stain, the deeper the love is believed to be, and the ceremony's medicinal cooling properties also help calm the bride.
Sangeet
A Sangeet is a lively Indian pre-wedding celebration filled with music, singing, and dancing, bringing the bride's and groom's families together to celebrate the union through performances and festive merriment. The word "Sangeet" means "sung together," and the event serves as a joyous icebreaker, often held a day before the wedding. Note: Only this event would include liquor.

Celebrated with songs, dance, and grand feasts, it highlights family kinship.

A wedding ceremony is the official, intimate, and often sacred event where a couple weds, exchanging vows and rings before witnesses to form a lifelong bond.
