Our journey began in college, even though we started at different institutions. Fate brought us together at the same college, strangers in separate departments. My cousin, who was in her class, unknowingly sparked the connection, as I spent breaks with him and noticed her. The first time I heard her talking to a guy, there was something in her words that gave off a subtle warning to me: *"Control your feelings, or you might misinterpret things."* But despite that, I knew instantly she was the one after 18 years of waiting for that special bond. I never knew she felt the same, until her best friend revealed it to me. I confirmed it with her, and she admitted it without hesitation. In that moment, my heart was hers.
