The wedding will take place around a sacred fire, led by a priest chanting traditional Sanskrit prayers. The ceremony begins with rituals welcoming the groom and formally offering the bride’s hand in marriage (Kanyadaan), symbolizing the joining of two families. The couple will then perform prayers and offerings into the fire (Havan) for love, harmony, and prosperity. The most important moment follows — the Saat Phere, where the bride and groom walk around the fire seven times, each circle representing a lifelong promise. The marriage is sealed when the groom applies sindoor (vermilion) and ties the mangalsutra, traditional symbols of marriage. The ceremony concludes with blessings from family, elders, and guests.
