Ganapati Sthapana and Griha Shanti: The wedding festivities begin with invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, and performing a puja (prayer ceremony) for peace and harmony. The Haldi ceremony, a cherished pre-wedding ritual in Indian weddings, typically occurs a few days before the main event. The Festivities Begin! With traditional rituals. Kanyadaan: In a poignant ceremony, the bride's father gives away his daughter's hand to the groom, marking the beginning of their new life together. Saptapadi (Pheras): The holy fire ceremony (pheras) is the most significant part of the wedding. The bride and groom take seven steps around the fire while chanting mantras, symbolizing their lifelong commitment to each other. The groom's family, brimming with joy, will set off in a vibrant baraat procession to the bride's house, which is 15 kilometers away. The journey will be filled with music, dance, and merriment – a true celebration of love! A Warm Welcome Awaits Upon reaching the bride's house, the baraat will be welcomed with open arms. The groom's party will be escorted to a comfortable designated area where they can relax and freshen up after the celebratory journey.
