About the hosts
Bipin & Alina's story
In a small, cozy café, our story began. It was an arranged meeting, set up by my uncle. The moment he walked in, I felt a flutter of nerves and a rush of shyness. Offering him a coffee, I could barely look up, my cheeks warm with a blush. Our first meeting was brief and filled with awkward silences, but there was a gentleness in his eyes that I couldn't forget. When we met again, something had shifted. The nervousness was still there, but so was a budding sense of happiness. We talked more freely, shared laughs, and found common ground. With each conversation, our bond grew stronger. We discovered a love that was both arranged and natural, blossoming beautifully over time. What began as a traditional meeting evolved into a heartfelt connection, leading us to fall deeply in love. This is our arranged love story, simple and sweet, just like the coffee that brought us together.

For the Haldi, use a yellow and orange theme with marigold flowers. Begin with the haldi application, accompanied by traditional music and fun games. Marrige
In a traditional Nepali wedding, the day begins with the groom's procession, known as the "Janti," to the bride's house. Accompanied by family, friends, and music, the groom is warmly welcomed by the bride's family. A series of rituals follows, including the "Swayamvara" where the bride garlands the groom, symbolizing acceptance. The couple then participates in sacred ceremonies led by a priest, involving offerings, vows, and the "Saptapadi" or seven steps around the holy fire, signifying their bond. The festivities conclude with a grand feast and blessings from elders, celebrating the union of the two families.

Reception
On the reception day in a Nepali wedding, the event is typically marked by a grand celebration hosted by the groom's family to honor the newlyweds and introduce the bride to the extended family and friends. The reception venue is often decorated lavishly, and the couple is dressed in elegant attire. Guests arrive with gifts and blessings for the couple, and there is a formal greeting line where the newlyweds and their families greet and thank each guest. The event features a lavish feast with a variety of traditional Nepali dishes, music, and dance performances. It's a joyful occasion filled with socializing, entertainment, and heartfelt speeches, celebrating the couple's new journey together.
