Shinas & Ashida's story
Ours is not a typical arranged marriage. We first met during the bride-watching ceremony — a nervous but honest moment that sparked something special. Though I was anxious about marriage, his love for family, his genuine nature, and his warm smile made a lasting impression. We began talking on Instagram and slowly fell in love, not just as a couple, but as soulmates. We got engaged on Christmas Eve, while the world celebrated joy — we celebrated a new beginning. That same night, he flew back to Qatar for work, and our long-distance journey began after just four days together. Now, 222 days later, we are ready to start forever. We invite you to join us on our wedding day — a celebration of love, unity, and tradition in true Kerala Muslim style, where hearts and cultures come together.

Mehandi
Mehandi Ceremony Mehandi is a special pre-wedding event hosted by the bride’s family. On this day, the groom’s parents and close relatives visit the bride’s home to present her with the wedding dress and other accessories she will wear on the big day. It is a joyful gathering, usually attended by at least 100 close family members and friends. During the ceremony, henna is applied to the bride’s hands while she holds a leaf in her palm. After the henna is drawn, the guests offer sweets to the bride as a blessing. The atmosphere is filled with warmth, music, and often lively songs and dance, making it a vibrant and cherished celebration leading up to the wedding.
