We are Akshara and Sahana, from the scenic Western Ghats of Karnataka. Our story began in 2020 when Sahana visited my home with her Bharatanatyam dance troupe. Soon after, I left for Germany to pursue my master’s degree, and life took us on different paths. Four years later, in early 2024, a simple chat on Instagram brought us back together — perhaps destiny’s gentle reminder. Coincidentally, her parents were searching for a match and reached out to mine, not realizing it was me! When we met again in Bangalore that August, everything felt natural. A week later, Sahana confessed she liked me — and that’s how our journey began. For us, it’s a love marriage; for our families, it beautifully feels arranged. We’ve shared a year of laughter, travel, cooking, and countless memories. She’s lively and warm, I’m calm and caring — together, we’re perfectly balanced.
