This is more of a pre-event where the bride receives Shagun, more of a “remember-me-souvenir” from her family members. It is an emotional event for the whole family as they officially mark the start of the wedding. Then, there is mehendi which is a beautiful way for all the women to sit together with the bride and apply craft filled mehendi on their hands, the bride’s being the most extravagant obviously. Mehendi becomes one of the factors for the bride to stand out!

In the afternoon, it’s gonna one of the renowned events of haldi ceremony. Haldi holds a traditional significance in Indian weddings and is also where one can get creative with the setup. Our’s is a pool side haldi and is basically gonna be a flower shower of shades of yellow! It’s a remarkable event where the family of the to-be-couple applies haldi on both and gives their blessing. And being a hardcore Indian weddings, any event cannot go about without a dancing sesh obviously! Lunch will be available throughout the event with some drinks & sunscreen!

I’m the late evening, there will be sangeet which is the definition of DANCING YOUR HEART OUT! Everyone has their own part ready, from mothers to sisters to never ending extended families. And the starer performance is by the couple which fills everyone with a little bit more joy and love than before. There will be buffet, starters & drinks throughout the event. Towards the end of the event, everyone gets on the platform and it converts into a party real soon!

It is truely like a festival! A festival to two souls becoming one. The event starts with entries of the bride & the groom with dancing and some mandatory rituals of fun. Then, THE VARMALA takes place where garlands are exchanged between the couple, an extravagant way of marking the wedding! And then the there are starters, a very Indian dinner with some real heavy desserts! By the end of the wedding, I assure you…your hearts and yours bellies will be more full than you would expect!
